Following the launch of www.tezorimaltin.com ICON was invited to meet the students at St. Margherita Primary School in Birgu to take them through the innovative educational endeavour which complements two exceptional books published by Miranda Publishers. Attending this ceremony was the Minister of Education the Hon. Dolores Cristina along with teachers parents and students.
During this event ICON explained how Internet facilitates the sharing of information and detailed the various features which are available for free on the Tezori Maltin website. Warren Sammut Business Development Consultant at ICON explained the benefits of technology in the education of children from their very first years at school. He highlighted the ever-increasing web activity in Malta and how students guided by their parents can use the internet as an educational tool.

Mr. Eddie Aquilina Director of Miranda Publishers officially unveiled the fruit of his works to the public during this event. Pointing out that locals should be collectively proud of the Maltese history and culture he emphasised on the importance of being aware of our own country’s treasures. Mr. Aquilina firmly believes that the website ties in to his vision of providing each student in Malta with the right information in an easy and safe environment.

Rounding up the ceremony was Minister Dolores Cristina who also gave her insights regarding the book the website and local culture. She highlighted the importance of nurturing our culture through education. Dolores Cristina exclaimed the importance of keeping the Maltese culture in the limelight and that children at a very young age are aware of Malta’s rich history.
Once they read the books students may now take their learning experience to an interactive level as they browse through the information and rich media available online.
