Social Media has taken the marketing world by storm and has given marketers a new tool to engage with customers. Mobile marketing is gathering momentum and is targeted to be the new marketing tool for 2012. Since smart phones are increasingly popular and are highly personal they can access a multitude of content from watching TV to surfing the web listening to music and writing emails. Data can reach people at any time or place and gives marketers the upper hand to track people and tweak communications accordingly.
Speaking after the workshop Dr Gege Gatt was delighted about its success. “The level of interaction between the business professionals demonstrated that mobile marketing is being viewed from a positive angle and will be embraced as an upcoming marketing tool. The engagement and flow of data and interaction has made this workshop highly successful and we are all leaving with new garnered information that will lead to a positive growth.”
