  • What does your job entail?

As an e-Marketing executive my job includes Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Social Media Marketing Online Advertising as well as Digital PR.

Once a new project is on board I meet up with the client to understand the business requirements and to propose solutions – coming up with new initiatives based on the goals that the company would be aiming to reach – whether it is to get more sales from the website increase the company’s site visibility on search engines generate customer interaction on social platforms and/or setting up online adverts among other goals.
  • What motivates you to do your best as an e-Marketing Executive?

e-Marketing is a very fast-paced business and you are kept on your toes all the time. You have to think outside the box and be motivated enough to come up with novel ideas for advertising social channels writing press releases new marketing techniques whilst also keeping up-to-date with new tools and techniques. Personal satisfaction as well as a pleasure to our clients when we deliver and reach our targets motivates me to push myself further.

  • How would you describe your relationship with the clients?

Communication is key with our clients. A crucial element of this job is to listen what your clients are telling you whilst also suggesting new ways of promoting a product or a brand. E-marketing is completely different from traditional marketing efforts. It moves at a faster pace works 24/7 and you have to be quick to react to any crisis that can emerge. Ultimately you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other online users positively.

  • How is it like to work at ICON?

Working at ICON has been a completely refreshing experience. The team is full of innovative ideas and we bounce off creative ideas off each other. No day is the same and that is what keeps this team healthy and creative.
