What does your job entail?
Once a new project is on board as a project executive I meet the clients to understand their requirements and propose the best solution possible considering time frames as well as budget. Following that I coordinate with our team to design develop and promote the solution. Communication is key in my job since I not only have to understand the clients’ needs but also transform their requirements into an exciting and tailor-made project to suit them. This can be done through client guidance and education managing all parties involved in the building of the project (including designers developers & content writers) as well as quality assurance and timely deliverance.
What motivates you to do your best as a Project Executive?
I love a challenge and this job offers me the opportunity to confront my abilities and to better myself by achieving good results. I am motivated to finish the projects on time and to manage the team to achieve our goals. Being successful at what I do is both a personal satisfaction as well as a pleasure to the clients as we deliver on time without compromising on quality. It is because of this that we manage to maintain a positive customer experience.
What are the necessary qualities of a proficient project executive?
Confidence and a friendly attitude as well as the ability to work both independently and within a team are all very important. Being honest organised and self-motivated together with a high level of customer service skills are all vital to be successful at this job. Since each project is unique and requires its own set of goals you should be open to new challenges.
How would you describe your relationship with the clients?
Being completely honest and offering your true opinion with your clients is crucial to build a level of trust. By sticking to your deadlines and solving your clients’ problems you are essentially reducing your clients’ stress levels and are going beyond your customers’ expectations. The extra time and effort you put into their project shows that you have their best interests at heart and this will lead to added confidence and trust.
